POUGHKEEPSIE – The 37-year-old man who was shot to death on Thursday morning has been identified by Poughkeepsie City Police. Detective Sergeant Sean Fitzgerald announced that Ronald Green, Jr. is the victim.
Green sustained a gunshot wound to the chest on Thursday morning inside of a two-family house at 49 Gifford Avenue in Poughkeepsie. The shooting occurred at 10:29 a.m. and the investigation is ongoing.
Police have not made an arrest in the murder and are asking for anyone with information to call the City of Poughkeepsie Police confidential TIPS line at 845-451-7577.
