NEWBURGH – Due to a burst steam pipe at the NFA Main Campus in the City of Newburgh, students were sent home at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday).
One custodian was injured and was sent to the hospital, according to school board clerk Matthew McCoy in a brief memo to school officials.
In at least one area of the high school, water poured from a ceiling.
All evening and after school activities were cancelled.
