DUTCHESS COUNTY – New York State Police are asking motorists to avoid both the north and southbound section of the Taconic State Parkway between Route 82 and Route 44.
The police are working with DOT and the Dutchess County Office of Emergency Management to repair significant potholes created during recent snow removal efforts.
Both directions of travel between Exit 44 (Route 82) and Exit 54 (Route 44) have sustained substantial damage to the road surface.
