KINGSTON – Ulster County will hold three more free drive-through at-home test kit distribution events at the Cantine Field in Saugerties on Friday, January 28th, from 3-5 p.m., at Highland High School in Highland on Monday, January 31st, from 4-6 p.m., and at the Ellenville High School in Ellenville on Thursday, February 3rd, from 5-7 p.m. Each event will have 2,000 at-home test kits available to county residents, with one kit per car.

“Our first two distribution events allowed us to deliver over 50,000 at-home COVID-19 test kits to the community at a time when it is critical to make informed decisions to safeguard our families,” County Executive Pat Ryan said. “As we see positive case counts finally begin to taper, we know that testing, wearing a mask, and getting your booster shot are working to keep our community safe and our schools and businesses open.”

“Through the distribution of testing kits, masks, and communication with the public, Ulster County has continued to work proactively to blunt the most recent surge in COVID-19 cases,” County Legislature Chairwoman Tracey Bartels said. “By working together at all levels of government, we are keeping our communities safe and our schools and businesses open.”

Residents are encouraged to contact their municipality for additional details on how to obtain test kits.
