KINGSTON – A 30-year-old Kentucky man was sentenced to 3 ½ years in state prison to be followed by three years of parole supervision following his conviction in Ulster County Court for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Jason Pease was arrested on December 1, 2020, by the URGENT drug task force following a traffic stop on his way from Patterson, New Jersey.

He has been in the Ulster County Jail since his arrest.

The stop and arrest resulted from an investigation into his narcotics activities in the area, including fentanyl.

He was sentenced before Judge Bryan Rounds.
