TOWN OF ULSTER – National Resources, the creators of iPark 84 at the former IBM East Fishkill site, Wednesday, announced their plans to invest at least

$200 million to redevelop the former Tech City property in the Town of Ulster.

The firm plans to purchase the property following completion of foreclosure proceedings by Ulster County and rename it iPark 87. The purchase will open up 18 parcels with over 180 acres in the center of the sprawling industrial site.

County Executive Pat Ryan said during IBM’s tenure, the site was once the center of the county’s economy. “I’m optimistic that the site will come back to life as the center of our county’s new economic future,” he said.

Proposed uses of the site include light manufacturing, food and agriculture, film and TV, arts and culture, and logistics and distribution. National Resources also expects to develop a portion of the site with multi-unit workforce housing citing the urgent need within the county for quality, affordable housing.

National Resources’ pasts developments have included iPark Hudson at the former Otis elevator facility in Yonkers, a medical-office focused iPark Norwalk campus in Connecticut, and iPark Lake Success at the former Lockheed Martin facility in Long Island.
