EAST FISHKILL – The former IBM property in East Fishkill, now called the iPark, has landed another tenant. Rolling Frito-Lay Sales, LP., a subsidiary of PepsiCo, plans to construct a 150,000 square foot fulfillment center.
Town Supervisor Nick D’Alessandro said the company plans to invest over $100 million in the project.
“The town board is committed to economic development, bringing jobs here to our town, growing our tax base, and that is the only way we can really mitigate property taxes for our residents, bringing new construction and jobs to our area,” he said.
D’Alessandro said the company plans to employ between 80 and 100 people and will seek a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes incentive from the Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency.
