NEW ROCHELLE – A man wanted on a warrant from the City of Yonkers, was arrested by New Rochelle Police before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25.
When New Rochelle officers stopped a vehicle in which Jamaal Solaam Anderson, 39, of Eutawville, South Carolina, was a passenger, they found a loaded Glock .40 caliber handgun with an additional loaded magazine and 30 loose rounds.
Anderson was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding devices and a police officer execution of an arrest warrant.
He was wanted in Yonkers for harassment.
