Piermont Fre Lt. Patrick Krummack rescues woman from Hudson River off Nyack

NYACK – The Piermont Dive Team, Monday, rescued an autistic woman from the Hudson River off Nyack.

A marine unit and divers were on the scene in under five minutes from the time of the initial dispatch.

Lt. Patrick Krummack deployed into the water and rescued the exhausted swimmer.

Once on the Piermont marine unit, she was evaluated by EMTs and transferred to Nyack Ambulance.
