ALBANY – A 42-year-old Hudson man, who recently lived in Cairo and Poughkeepsie, pled guilty on Friday to distributing more than 28 grams of cocaine base and fentanyl in January.

Micah Hines, also known as “Water,” admitted in Albany federal court that he sold about 4 grams of cocaine base on January 7 and that he sold about 52 grams of fentanyl and 28 grams of cocaine base on January 13.

He faces five to 40 years in federal prison followed by a term of post-release supervision when sentenced in December.

The case was investigated by the State Police and the DEA’s Capital District Drug Enforcement Task Force, which includes investigators from the Columbia County Sheriff’s office and Hudson City Police Department.
