POUGHKEEPSIE – City police are investigating a slashing that allegedly occurred near the Poughkeepsie Middle School on Monday night. The male victim was uncooperative and refused to provide specifics, according to police.
Officers had responded to the 200 block of Hooker Avenue on August 9, at approximately 10:00 p.m. for a report of a victim of a slashing. When encountered, the only information the man provided was that the incident occurred in the area of the Poughkeepsie Middle School.
He was transported via Mobile Life to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital for treatment of a laceration to the hand.
