MONTICELLO – A 29-year-old man was shot dead on Broadway in Monticello shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Village Police located the man on the sideway in front of Nelly’s Sports Bar at 456 Broadway. He had been shot and was declared dead at the scene.
Monticello Police are being assisted in the investigation by State Police, the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Mobile Medic Ambulance and Monticello Fire Department.
