MIDDLETOWN – The City of Middletown has a new treasurer. Kelly Ann Kelly will replace the retiring Don Paris, who served the city for 11 years.

Kelly has been village treasurer in Walden for the last five years.

“I feel my experience in the Village of Walden, in a much smaller scale, will help me here and I am also grateful that Don has agreed to stay on and show me the ropes and help us get through anything that we need to get through,” she said.

Paris will stay on as a consultant for a while to assist the new treasurer.

Prior to working for Walden, Kelly was chief financial officer, comptroller and director of finance for Elant for 17 years.
