POUGHKEEPSIE – New York State Police have arrested a Poughkeepsie resident on felony child pornography charges. The July 14, 2021 arrest was the result of an investigation initiated after the State Police received a tip from an individual.
50-year-old Sean Hulsmann has been charged with the felonies of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, and Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child.
State Police say their investigation revealed that Hulsmann was in possession of child pornography containing images of a child familiar to him.
Hulsmann was arraigned before the city of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, $150,000 partially secured bond, or $500,000 bond.
