POUGHKEEPSIE – The Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet, a collaboration between School District Superintendent Dr. Eric Rosser and Mayor Rob Rolison, is entering its second year and it has been an effective tool for the community, said the superintendent.
Rosser said they are looking to expand its reach to benefit children in the city.
“We are partnering with Marist College as well as graduates of the Poughkeepsie City School District to host working groups to get a good sense of what our community is seeing as a possible benefit in after-school programming as well as early childhood for children,” he said.
The collaboration between the city and school district was one of mayor Rolison’s first things when Dr. Rosser came to Poughkeepsie over a year ago.
