Poughkeepsie man arrested for stealing SUV in Goshen

A 38-year-old Monticello woman has been arrested for being in possession of multiple handguns on the campus of Liberty High School last week.

GOSHEN – A 41-year-old Town of Poughkeepsie man is in the Orange County Jail on bail for allegedly stealing a vehicle from a convenience store parking lot in the Town of Goshen.

State Police from the Town of Wallkill barracks located and stopped the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee shortly after it was stolen at 5:15 a.m. from the Stewart’s Shop on Route 17M.

Troopers arrested Todd Johnson who was pulled over at a BP gas station in the Town of Wawayanda.

He was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
