TUSTEN – An 81-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a 24-year-old man in the Town of Tusten on Saturday afternoon.
State Police found Anthony Williams at a residence on Lake Country Lane suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene while EMS personnel were working on him.
Troopers arrested John Rhodes of Tusten and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
State Police and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office assisted State Police.
The investigation is continuing.
