THOMPSON – A White Lake man was killed when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a deer.
State Police from the Liberty barracks said Frank Gerow, Jr., 52, was operating a 2011 Honda motorcycle on Route 17B in the Town of Thompson around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18 when the bike was struck by a deer.
He was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
