WAPPINGER – State Police have arrested a 71-year-old Wappinger woman on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of her sister.
Police allege that Joan Darcy killed Carol Darcy, 72, who died of blunt force injuries.
Troopers and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office responded to a residence on Scarborough Lane in the Town of Wappinger on November 5, 2020, where they found the dead woman.
Joan Darcy was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail.
