Ulster man charged with criminal contempt

KINGSTON – An Ulster Park man has been arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on a felony charge of criminal contempt for violating an order of protection.

Corey Pritchard, 42, was charged with being at an Ulster Park residence in violation of an order of protection.

He was located at that location at 8 a.m. on March 25 and attempted to flee by running from deputies. He was apprehended and resisted arrest resulting in charges of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Pritchard was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
