EAST FISHKILL – A traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill led to the arrest of a Newburgh man on charges of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
State troopers conducted the stop for speeding and an investigation revealed shortly before, the driver, identified as Jaquan Boykin, 27, had engaged in a domestic dispute with the passenger and threatened the individual with scissors.
Boykin was arraigned and an order of protection was issued. He was released pending a future court appearance.
