Man crushed by car

WAWARSING – A man who was repairing a vehicle was killed when it fell on him, police said.

The victim was under the car at Pine Stream Road near Route 209 in the Ellenville Fire District late on Thursday morning when he apparently became trapped by it.

Emergency radio transmissions said the man was pulled out and later died from injuries.

State Police assisted at the scene.
