Search continues for Bear Mountain Bridge jumper

CORTLANDT – No body has been recovered from the Hudson River following a person jumping from the Bear Mountain Bridge Sunday afternoon.

State Police received a call at 3:43 p.m. reporting the incident.

Police and fire marine units were launched and as of mid-morning today, no victim has been located in the chilly waters.

A vehicle was located at the bridge, but at this point, it is unknown if the victim was a man or woman.
