Stimulus package means millions for region

WASHINGTON – Counties in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region will reap millions in the $1.9 trillion federal stimulus package approved by Congress. President Biden is expected to sign it into law tomorrow (Friday).

In Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney’s (D, NY-18) district, it means $75 million for Orange County, $57 million for Dutchess, $19 million for Putnam County, and $188 million for Westchester County.

In Congressman Antonio Delgado’s district (D, NY-19), the measure means $11.5 million for Columbia County, $9 million for Greene County, $14.6 million for Sullivan County, and $34.4 million for Ulster County.
