MIDDLETOWN – An early morning fire in a residence at 12 Knox Avenue in the City of Middletown displaced four adults and one child. The Red Cross was called in to assist them.
The two-alarm fire broke out around 2:30 Sunday morning, bringing area departments in to assist under mutual aid.
Orange and Rockland Utilities was called to the scene.
There were no reports of injuries and no immediate determination as to what caused the fire.
