Two Hudson Valley wines take top honors in New York Wine Classic

ALBANY – Two Hudson Valley wines were among the 25 winners in the annual New York Wine Classic’s “Best of Class” awards.

The Best Cabernet Sauvignon award went to Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville for its 2017 New York Premium Selection, Cabernet Sauvignon, Hudson Valley.

The Best Chardonnay (Oaked) award went to Millbrook Winery for its 2019 Proprietor’s Special Reserve, Chardonnay, Hudson Valley.

Judging for the wine classic took place from November 1, 2020 through February 15, 2021 and included 607 entries from 96 wineries across the state.

For the first time, the New York Wine & Grape Foundation partnered with the Beverage Testing Institute to judge wines submitted from across the state.
