HIGHLAND – A Highland man has been charged with criminal contempt after he was involved in a domestic dispute in the town of Lloyd.
Lloyd Town Police said Che Melbourne, 29, was found to be in violation of an order of protection issued by the Town of LaGrange Court.
Further investigation by Lloyd police determined that he was also wanted on a bench warrant for felony criminal mischief from the City of Poughkeepsie Police.
Melbourne was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Lloyd Town Court related to the domestic dispute. He was then turned over to City of Poughkeepsie Police to face that charge.
