KINGSTON – The Kingston City Police Department’s Special Investigations unit, Tuesday, arrested a Town of Kingston woman on drug charges.
The arrest of Meredith McSpirit of Rymrock Road concluded an investigation into the sale of heroin and fentanyl occurring throughout the City of Kingston.
She was taken into custody at her home and brought to police headquarters where she was charged with two counts each of criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
City detectives were assisted by the US Marshal’s New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Patrol Division.
