KIRYAS JOEL – A four-year-old boy was struck and killed late Monday afternoon when he stepped off a school bus in the Village of Kiryas Joel.
A meat delivery truck made a left turn intro a driveway entrance of an apartment complex on DA Weider Builevard when the child was struck, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers interviewed the driver and found no signs of impairment.
There were no charges at this time. The investigation is continuing.
