New York City man arrested for stealing car in Peekskill

CORTLANDT – Police have arrested a New York City man on a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property for operating a stolen vehicle in Peekskill.

Tysean Lee, 25, was caught on East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt around 10:45 a.m. on December 30, 2020 shortly police received a law enforcement tip that the 2020 Acura TL, which was stolen in New York City, was in their area.

Lee was also charged with a misdemeanor of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
