COVID-19 spread leads to closure of Monticello village offices

MONTICELLO  Due to the increase in cases of the coronavirus in the area and in concern for the health and safety of village employees and residents, the entire Village of Monticello including Village Hall, Justice Court, Ted Stroebele Recreation Center and village parks will be closed effected Monday, December 7.

All payments will be accepted by mail, online or can be left in the drop box at the front door at 2 Pleasant Street. Payments must be in an envelope.

The building department will be open by appointment only and can be reached at 845-794-6130 ext. 301 or 302.

“The Village of Monticello is taking all of the necessary precautionary measures for the safety and health for our employees and residents while adhering to any and all mandates and directors from our state and local officials,” said Mayor George Nikolados.
