TOWN OF THOMPSON – Apple Ice has purchased a portion of the Sullivan County-owned Apollo Plaza property in the Town of Thompson.

Sullivan County Partnership President Marc Baez said that may be the first of two projects at the site by that company with other possible uses to follow.

“The ice production company is looking at another 82-acre site behind the Apollo Plaza and is looking to hopefully put in a production facility there, and we have another prospect ready for the back of that site,” he said. “The site will be split up into to seven to nine parcels that will be shovel ready with water and sewer.”

The property has highway access off exit 106 of Route 17 in Thompson.
