KINGSTON – A 19-year-old Kingston man was arrested late Friday night during a traffic stop, which led to his arrest for possession of a loaded handgun and marijuana.
Further investigation by police determined that Jaylen Coliukos was responsible for shooting at a moving vehicle during an altercation near the intersection of Downs and Wiltwyck Avenue in Kingston on October 1.
Coliukos was initially charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of marijuana, both as felonies. He was also charged with reckless endangerment for the incident in October.
The Blue and Grey detail, comprised of Kingston City Police, State Police, and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, investigated and made the arrest.
