Deerpark man arrested for assault after release from Orange County Jail

DEERPARK – A Deerpark man was arrested on Saturday, October 3 the day after he was released from the Orange County Jail in connection with a domestic incident.

Raheem Brickhouse, 23, returned to the scene and allegedly initiated a verbal altercation with the complainant. During the altercation, he allegedly picked up a small statue and hit the third person in the back of the head causing injury.

As Brickhouse fled the scene, he was observed taking a weapon, later determined to be a BB gun, out of his pocket, and began shooting randomly at vehicles in the area shattering several windows.

He was charged with criminal mischief and assault, both as felonies and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Deerpark Town Court.
