Fire destroys South Fallsburg restaurant

SOUTH FALLSBURG – Fire early Tuesday morning gutted the Venetian Café on Route 42 in South Fallsburg.

Several Sullivan County fire departments responded to extinguish the blaze that saw flames lighting up the pre-dawn skies.

The cause of the fire, which broke out around 3 a.m., is under investigation.

There were no injuries reported.
