Drowning in Harriman State Park lake

HARRIMAN – A Bronx man drowned on Monday afternoon when he slipped off a rock into Lake Sebago at Harriman State Park, State Police said.

Rashad Ibrahim, 25, was with seven people who were swimming in the lake when he slipped and fell at around 2:46 p.m. 

His body was later located and recovered by Thiells Search and Rescue.

State and Park Police were also assisted by the Mahwah, New Jersey Fire Department.
