WURTSBORO – Neighbors climbed through the rubble of a house that exploded just before midnight Monday and pulled the occupant out to safety.
The man, who could be heard moaning in pain, was carried out of what was left of the manufactured home at 25 Laura Jean Lane in Blue Sky Manor in the Summitville Fire District of Wurtsboro.
He was later rushed to a hospital by ambulance.

The explosion was felt several blocks away and some damage was seen to houses on either side of the demolished structure.
The cause of the explosion has not been determined officially, but speculation is that it was caused by gas
