POUGHKEEPSIE = Motorists are advised that Taconic State Parkway ramp and lane closures are scheduled for next week, weather permitting, while crews repair catch basins to enhance highway drainage.
Single lane closures are scheduled northbound between Exit 41 (Beekman Road) and Exit 47 (Route 55) on Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16, between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
Entrance ramp closures at Exit 41 (Beekman Road) are scheduled beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 22, until Wednesday, June 24. Motorists should follow the posted detour and anticipate possible delays.
Exit ramp closures to Exit 41 (Beekman Road) are scheduled beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, until Friday, June 19. Motorists should follow the posted detour and anticipate possible delays.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
