WURTSBORO – A 41-year-old Wurtsboro man was killed when the single-engine airplane he was in crashed near Wurtsboro Airport Friday evening.
State Police identified the victim as Eddy Santana, who was found dead at the scene.
Another man in the aircraft, Raymond Ellery, 42, of Poughkeepsie, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with multiple injuries.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
