NYACK – Orangetown Police are investigating a shooting incident in Nyack that occurred just after 10 a.m. on Friday in which a person was reported to have been shot in the back.
The incident occurred in the area of South Midland Avenue and Main Street in Nyack.
Police said there is no indication of any danger to the surrounding community related to this shooting.
Police radio reports indicate they are looking for a black man in a silver or gold Toyota Camry.
