MIDDLETOWN – Firefighters in the City of Middletown investigated an apartment fire at 63 South Street late Saturday afternoon.
The call came in at 4:23 p.m. with a second alarm sounded a short time later.
Firefighters arriving at the scene reported smoke coming from a building at the Park Hill Apartments with smoke coming from a wall and ceiling.
The building was evacuated by fire and police personnel.
One firefighter was reported injured.
A half hour later the fire was reported out with firefighters conducting overhaul.
