COVID-19 death toll continues to rise

HUDSON VALLEY – The number of people to succumb to COVID-19 in the Hudson Valley/Catskills stands at 2,262 as of Friday information from state and county health departments.

Westchester County has had a total of 1,191 deaths.

There have been 437 deaths in Rockland County and 367 in Orange County.

In Dutchess County, 98 people have lost their lives.

In Putnam County, 55 people have succumb to the death virus while 54 people have lost their lives in Ulster County.

Twenty-five people have died in Sullivan County while 22 people have passed away in Columbia County and 13 have died in Greene County.
