Three-alarm fire levels school under construction

FALLSBURG – Fire Thursday morning destroyed a girls’ school building being constructed on the Yeshiva of South Fallsburg campus at 84 Laurel Park Road.

The three-alarm blaze leveled the structure that was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.

It was said to be about 80 percent completed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no reports of injuries.
