WHITE PLAINS – A 22-year-old New Rochelle man pled guilty in Westchester County Court to sexually assaulting a young child.
Jonathan Augustin-Miranda pled guilty to course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree.
He was arrested by New Rochelle Police following an investigation into allegations he engaged in sexual intercourse with a child. It was found that from December 25, 2017, to January 27, 2019, he sexually assaulted a young child victim on several occasions.
He was arrested and charged on January 30, 2019.
As part of his plea, he will be sentenced to nine years in state prison followed by 15 years of post-release supervision and will have to register as a sex offender.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
