MARLBORO – Former Marlboro town councilman and town assessor Charles Weed, Jr. died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019. He was 88.
Weed was a lifetime member of the Milton Fire Department where he served as a fire commissioner.
A graduate of Marlboro High School, he went on the study pomology at Cornell School of Agriculture and was a lifelong fruit farmer as owner of Weeds Orchards and Winery.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 29 at The DiDonato Funeral Home in Marlboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 30
