New York man arrested in Yorktown for burglary

YORKTOWN – A man wanted in connection with a burglary at the Dunkin Donuts store at 3399 Crompond Road in Yorktown on July 10, 2017, has been arrested.

It is alleged that Angel Aybar broke into the store’s office and stole $1,140.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and on December 6, 2019, Yorktown officers responded to the Vernon C. Bain Center jail in the Bronx where Aybar was being held.

He was placed under arrest for the Yorktown crime, arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
