TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Thanksgiving turkey has been consumed, dessert followed, and now, what do you do? In recent years, Black Friday actually started on Thursday evening and this year was no different.
At some Thanksgiving dinner tables, the topic of discussion included the sizes of flat screen TVs that would be on sale when doors opened.
At the Best Buy store in the Town of Wallkill, barricades were set up to protect the pedestrians as they waited for the doors to open.
Many stores will be staying open until Friday evening, as the Christmas holiday shopping season officially gets underway.
