GOSHEN – Orange County Court Judge Robert Freehill, Wednesday, sentenced Douglas Castro, 64, of Warwick, to 12 years in state prison and 20 years of post-release supervision for repeatedly engaging in sexual conduct with a child.
Castro pled guilty on May 16 to the crime of course of sexual conduct against a child, admitting that between September 2012 and June 2014, he repeatedly engaged in acts of oral sexual conduct and other acts of sexual contact with a child who was less than 13 years old.
Castro will also be required to register as a sex offender.
