Pipeline worker charged with stabbing coworker

WAPPINGER – A Newburgh man was arrested late Tuesday morning for stabbing his coworker during an argument.

The men, who work for Precision Pipeline, were engaged in an argument while working on the gas line on Old Hopewell Road in the Town of Wappinger.

State Police charged Jaeson Dauswell, 24, of Newburgh with felony assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.

Dauswell allegedly stabbed the victim in the thigh with a multi-tool knife.

Dauswell was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
