TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police are investigating the armed robbery of the Wendy’s restaurant at 441 Route 211 East in the Town of Wallkill early Saturday.
A store employee told investigating Wallkill Town Police officers that he was approached by a masked man, who was armed with a gun.
The suspect forced the victim to turn over an undetermined amount of cash from the store safe before fleeing.
The robber is described as light skin black or Hispanic man, six feet to six-feet, two-inches tall, with a stocky build.
He was wearing dark overalls with paint splatters on the outside, a dark colored ski cap and tan work boots.
He was armed with a revolver.
